TIA NAGEL, lmhc
director of public relations & development
Tia grew up and went to school right here in Southwest Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Gulf Coast University. Tia graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Master’s degree from the CACREP accredited program of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Hodges University. She is currently serving as the Legislative Chair on the Florida Association for Multi-Cultural Counseling and Development through the Florida Counseling Association.
Tia takes a holistic approach to counseling. She believes the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of ourselves are intertwined. When we take the time to take care of ourselves in all of these arenas we build a stronger sense for self which then allows us to overcome future obstacles and daily life stressors successfully. Tia likes to utilize and emphasize her client’s strengths, thus empowering the client helping them to find their own happiness and fulfillment.
When Tia is not in the office she enjoys running, weight lifting, paddle boarding, and spending time with her family and friends.
