Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Understanding that counseling is equal parts arts and science I like to use creative approaches to scientific theoretical practices. After obtaining a BS in Psychology andBA in Religion from Florida State University; I then pursued a MS degree in Community Psychology from Florida A&M University. My thesis focused on the effectiveness of Stress Management techniques. Upon graduation I gainedexperience in many fields such as crisis, suicide, DCF, and addictions counseling. During graduate school I became a certified and licensed pharmacy tech where I learned psychopharmacology and understanding how medications help mood. Having a diverse education and work experience, I am comfortable working with the gray in a black and white world.
